Full Tutorial: Smokey Silver

I got a request for a smokey eye tutorial, so here is my silver smokey eye. More to come!

You want to start out with an eyeshadow primer of some sort. My favorite is Aromaleigh's Eye Base.

You take the primer and spread a very thin amount over your eyelids to just above the crease, and on the inside corners.

Next I used Aromaleigh's Pure Eyes Frost eyeshadow pigment in Snow.

I used a small brush (this one is made by Posh) to apply the eyeshadow to the inner corners of my eyes, and a bigger one to apply it all over my eyelids, to just above the crease.

Then I used a Loreal eyeshadow in a matte black.

This is my crease brush (made by Posh).

I used the crease brush to apply the black eyeshadow all over my eyelids to just above the crease, but I didn't put it on very dark. This picture shows how it looks with the black mixed with the frosty white to create a silver. Then you're going to want to apply more black to the outside corners of your eye and in the crease. I also took more of the frosty white and applied it to the inside corners of my eyelid and blended it to the middle. The white is then applied right below the eyebrow for a highlight and blended slightly into the edge of the black on the crease so it blends out nicely.

Then I applied mascara and put eyeliner on my top and bottom lash lines, all around the eye.

In this picture you can see how I blended the black into the outside corners and the crease to contour the eyes. You can also see the white highlight under the eyebrow and how the white fades into the black.

On the bottom of my eyes I added some black eyeshadow over the eyeliner and blended it out so there are no harsh lines, then blended it into the white on the inside corners.

This is the final look. I think a dark, dramatic smokey eye look best with no blush or lip color. I'm lazy and also didn't use any foundation.
